Mesha Sterling

Mesha Sterling, a Native of New Orleans, learned early that life doesn’t always follow the plan. Just three days before starting college at Tulane University, Hurricane Katrina struck, forcing her to live from state to state before returning home. That experience instilled patience, resilience, and a deep appreciation for community—lessons she carries into her work every day. She graduated from Riverdale High School in 2005 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Tulane’s School of Liberal Arts in 2012, where she discovered a passion for logic that would later serve her well in law. After graduating from Tulane, Mesha pursued science at Delgado with plans for a medical career, but in 2019 she found her calling in law, working at a well known firm in New Orleans’ CBD, helping Lake Charles residents recover from Hurricanes Laura and Delta.

Throughout her career, Mesha has been guided by a deep care for humanity and community. She believes in listening to each client with a fresh ear, treating every scenario with individuality, and providing guidance grounded in both empathy and expertise. From volunteering in her church, to advising New Orleans inmates on rebuilding their lives after release, giving back has always been central to her approach. She prides herself on organization, integrity, and a thorough understanding of every situation, believing that attention to detail and genuine care can make all the difference.

Outside of the office, Mesha enjoys nurturing her family as a new mother, singing, and striving to elevate her piano skills. She believes life is a balance of diligence and joy and works to bring both into every interaction, ensuring her clients feel heard, supported, and confident in the path forward.
