Sharon Plauche

With a diverse professional background spanning both the medical and legal fields, Sharon Plauche brings a unique and invaluable perspective to personal injury litigation at the Becnel Law Office, where she has served as a legal assistant since May 2003.

Before joining the firm, Sharon worked as a felony clerk with the St. John Parish District Attorney’s Office for seven years, gaining firsthand experience in the legal system. However, her professional journey began in the healthcare industry, where she spent 12 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her extensive medical knowledge is a tremendous asset in personal injury cases, allowing her to understand complex medical records, diagnoses, and treatment plans with ease. This expertise enables her to effectively assist attorneys in evaluating injuries, interpreting medical terminology, and liaising with healthcare providers—critical components in building strong personal injury claims.

Sharon’s ability to bridge the gap between medicine and law ensures that clients receive the comprehensive support they need. Her keen attention to detail and compassionate approach make her an indispensable part of the Becnel Law Office team.

Outside of work, Sharon cherishes her family life, having married the love of her life in 1985. She is a proud mother of two daughters and a devoted grandmother to two granddaughters and two grandsons.
